Content of the educational programme
The ÜBER LEBENSKUNST.School comprises 10 two and a half day on-site events. Each of these "modules" is dedicated to a specific topic. Proven experts from theory and practice will present their perspectives on each of the topics, organise working sessions, lead activities and talk with participants. Each module has the following formats:
- The cultural scientist and art mediator, Rahel Puffert, will head up what is called the "Project forum" which is dedicated to planning and discussing the school projects as a group.
- The participants will present their artistic/pedagogical methods in workshops, impart methodological knowledge and report on their own experiences in their work with children and young people.
- In regular reflection units facilitated by art mediator, Constanze Eckert, the participants can apply what they have heard and learned to their own project development. These units allow for continuous development of the educational programme in line with participants’ needs.
- A "salon gathering" was also held in three modules where an expert discussed a topic with the group that was independent of the module but still related to art and sustainability. The salon gathering gave participants in the ÜBER LEBENSKUNST.School the opportunity to share ideas with the other ÜBER LEBENSKUNST project participants.
